Research

Research seems to happen in spurts. I was able to visit Shelby, Mercer and Auglaize Co, OH in search of supporting documents and headstone inscriptions last weekend. Thanks to my sister who accompanied me to the Shelby Co probate office to find marriage, birth and death records and then to two cemeteries to find and photograph headstones and thanks to both of my parents who accompanied me to five other cemeteries in Mercer and Auglaize Co. We accomplished a lot that should fill in some blanks and provide substantiation of undocumented info in our possession on Roedigers, Aufderhaars, Eichenaurs, Weifenbachs and Wentzes.
