Children of Adam and Katharina (Roediger) Eichenauer

Due to the 1910 census listing a son as "Charles H. Eichenauer," I leapt to the erronious conclusion that there was a fifth child, in addition to Bessie Amelia, Edward, Harold and Leonard. I had transcribed Harold's middle initial as a "B" from the 1910 census so was unaware of my mistake. I should have known that something was amiss because Charles H. was in the 1910, but not the 1920 and Harold was in the 1920, but not the 1910 and their ages would have worked out to be the same. Nevertheless, I missed it until reading a Mercer County Atlas (1978) which has an article written about the Adam Eichenauer family, written by Janet Miller which pointedly states that they had "four children." I rechecked my info and realized that Harold's middle initial was a flourished C. and not a B. at all. So apparently, in 1910 he was Charles H. and in 1920 he was Harold C. but, the same person. The point of all this is, if you have received anything from me on the Adam Eichenauer line, you should remove Charles H. Eichenauer from the family tree--didn't exist. Sorry!
